Yesterday was a solid day at Buy The Book, with our daily picks going 2-1-1 for a +0.9u day, but we made our money on the golf course as Ben redeemed his miss with the Clippers daily pick by nailing Collin Morikawa to win the PGA at +800 on a 2u play. The boys are all hot open way or another, so its a great time to tail.
Alex Jansen (2-2-1, 50%, -0.2u): Phoenix Suns -7.5 vs OKC Thunder
Some may call this one bold, but you have to ride the fire to win sometimes. The Suns are 5-0 in the bubble, and only a few wins away from the play-in game and on absolute fire. The Thunder are on the second leg of a B2B and are sitting SGA, Steven Adams, Gallinari, Nerlens Noel, and are still without Dennis Schroder, who left the bubble. If OKC is going to cover they would need one hell of a game from CP3, but even that may not be enough with such a depleted lineup.

Ben Jansen (15-12, 55.55%, +16.15u): Toronto Raptors +7 vs Milwaukee Bucks
The top two teams in the East face off, and quite frankly this spread is way larger than it should be. The Bucks have struggled in the bubble, at only 2-3 straight up and ATS, while the Raptors are 4-1 with much more quality wins. This one is up in the air when it comes to winning straight up, but the Raptors are playing much better basketball than the Bucks right now, and should be able to stay within the 7 point spread even if they lose.

Dylan Kelly (4-3, 57.14%, +0.8u, 4 game winning streak): Utah Jazz -7.5 vs Dallas Mavericks
With Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis both out for today’s game, the Jazz should runaway with this one early. The Mavericks offense revolves around Luka and KP, specifically Luka, and will struggle to find any sort of rhythm without them today. Jazz by a million.
Risk 1.1 to Win 1
Ryan Kelly (3-1, 75%, +1.9u): Chicago White Sox -1.5 (+105) @ Detroit Tigers
The pitching matchup looks very promising here for the White Sox. Dallas Keuchel carries a 2.55 ERA into this one while the Tigers will trot out Michael Fulmer and his whopping 13.5 ERA. The Tigers have a weak lineup that should allow Keuchel to go deep into this game, especially if he gets run support from the offensive side. The White Sox offense is filled with future superstars like Yoan Moncada, Eloy Jimenez, and Luis Robert to pair with veteran stars like Jose Abreu, Yasmani Grandal, and Edwin Encarnacion. The Tigers lineup doesn’t have anyone close to that level of star power, and the White Sox should win this one handily.
