First off, we’re gonna take them blame as our “daily” picks were screwed up by the powers that be. But we made up for it as last time out we were a strong 3-1 for a +1.95 unit day. We’re back now, trying to stay hot and make some cash.
Alex Jansen (4-3-1, 56.25%, +0.7u): New York Yankees Team Total Over 5.5
This is a pretty easy bet because I’m completely unsure of who Colten Brewer, the Red Sox starter, is and the Red Sox are awful. I think the Yankees will get past this in the early innings on the way to victory because there’s just no stopping this lineup.
Risk 1.25 to Win 1
Ben Jansen (18-12, 60%, +19.15u, 3 straight wins): Boston Red Sox @ NY Yankees Over 9
This one is pretty simple, which is how I’ve made my last few picks and its worked! The Yankees offense can mash, the Red Sox pitching SUCKS. They gave up 17 runs yesterday and used seven pitchers. The Yankees had an off day to rest, and have Gerrit Cole on the bump. In the Yankees small home park, this one could end up being a 15-0 win for the Bombers.
Risk 1.1 to Win 1
Dylan Kelly (6-4, 60%, +2.1u, 2 straight wins): NY Mets @ Philadelphia Phillies Under 8.5
Jacob deGrom (2.45 ERA) is on the bump today, which means the Phillies will be shut down. The back-to-back Cy Young winner has only given up 6 runs over his first four starts. He’s ultra consistent and I expect more of the same today in Philly. If this is a typical deGrom start, the Mets will fail to give him much run support and the under will hit in this one.
Risk 1.15 to Win 1
Ryan Kelly (4-3, 57.14%, +0.85u): Cincinnati Reds -1.5 vs Pittsburgh Pirates
Sonny Gray has been pitching like an ace all season long and he’s facing a very weak Pirates lineup. Expect Sonny Gray to dominate and go deep into this game and the Red’s lineup has legit power threats in the middle of the lineup and this game can get out of hand quickly. If they hit like they are capable of, this will be a lopsided victory for Cincinnati.
Risk 1 to Win 1.1
