For degenerates like myself it has been a long time since we have been able to gamble on our favorite sport. Sure, NBA playoffs are fun to bet on and March Madness is always great, but nothing compares to sitting on your couch for 10 hours straight and gambling on CFB or the NFL.
The Week 0 college football slate isn’t great by any means, but what is important is that meaningful football games are being played this weekend. Meaningful football games that we get to gamble on.
I’m showing some self discipline this week and I have carefully selected one singular bet for Week 0 CFB.
The Pick: UCLA/Hawaii u68.5 (-110)
I’m taking the under. Hawaii returns a large portion of their defense from a year ago including a stellar defensive line. The Rainbow Warriors defense should be strong enough to get multiple stops in this game, keeping the total away from 68.5. UCLA is also returning most of their defense from the 2020 season, where they allowed the fewest points in the PAC-12. I am not expecting much from Hawaii’s offense, UCLA should have no problem bottling them up.
Interesting Trend: The total in the last five Hawaii road games has hit the under. And I am fully expecting this trend to continue this Saturday.
I know betting under isn’t always a fan favorite bet, but there is value here and I am riding with it.
